The Truth Beneath The Clouds

Some say that all is dust,
A figment of the mind,
And when we beings turn to rest
We are no longer blind.
Welcome then the stillness
Beneath the daily grind
So that we may truly sense
And inspiration find.

  1. In this world, but not of it.
    Yes!
    At the "still point in the turning world."

    Very, very nice poem, my friend.
    Thank you.

    I think that Rumi poem you posted was a subconscious inspiration.

    I've been waiting for some inspiration to come by for my latest project... Guess all I have to do is shut up, huh? *grin* Kidding.

    Thanks for sharing Okei

  4. "Welcome then the stillness
    Beneath the daily grind"... That's lovely, Okei dude!

    Enjoy that peace when it comes... for it doesn't, as much as we want.

    "From dust thee were made, and dust thee shall be..."
    The earth shall write our eulogy!

  6. The heavenly rider passed;
    The dust rose in the air;
    He sped; but the dust he cast
    Yet hangeth there.

    Straight forward thy vision be,
    And gaze not left or night;
    His dust is here, and he
    In the Infinite.
